Leadership Team

Margaret Suehr
CEO, Owner, Clinical Director

Margaret Suehr is a licensed professional clinical counselor (LPCC) , CEO and entrepreneur. She has over 20 years in experience in the behavioral health and substance abuse fields. She holds a master’s degree in Community Counseling from Roosevelt University. Prior to Opening Pinwheel Healing Center, Margaret worked with the homeless and at risk population. Margaret has held multiple leadership position, has created programs, trainings, events and courses. Margaret is also a business coach who loves to help new entrepreneurs begin their journeys. When Margaret isn’t working, she loves to spend time with her family, her dogs and being outdoors.

Heidi Wahl
LADAC, COO

Heidi Wahl brings her depth of knowledge and decades of experience in behavioral health to Pinwheel. Her strengths include program development, systems management, advocacy, and clinical leadership. Heidi is continuously seeking creative ways to bring resources to communities, and uses a collaborative approach in both micro and macro work. She uses diverse therapeutic modalities and specializes in addictions, with a focus in social work, and public health. Heidi brings a wide range of skills and leadership abilities to Pinwheel Healing.

Jolyn Romero

Jolyn Romero is our Comprehensive Community Support Services coordinator. She graduated from Wagon Mound Public Schools and went to college at New Mexico Highlands University where she graduated with Masters in Bilingual/Bicultural Social Work. She has been working the Raton community for over 13 years and enjoys serving the under populated, rural areas on Northern New Mexico.

Shawna Williams
LSAA, CPSW​

Shawna Williams, LSAA, CPSW, is the IOP Manager at Pinwheel Healing Center and helped develop the Intensive Outpatient Program at Pinwheel. She is Matrix trained and specializes in Mindfulness-Based Relapse Prevention (MBRP). Shawna has worked with a diverse range of clients and believes recovery is possible for all peoples with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health issues. She is currently pursuing a master's degree in Social Work at Highlands University.

Angela Sisneros
Intake Coordinator

Angela Sisneros has over 17 year’s experience in providing mental health and substance abuse services in Taos, NM. She is a lifelong resident of Taos and enjoys serving the community she resides in. Angela is Community Support Worker (CSW) and helps clients with social, educational, and employment needs. Angela enjoys spending time with her family and enjoys camping and being outdoors. Angela not only serves the clients at Pinwheel she is also the Intake Coordinator.
